Author of 60+ technical courses, published white papers and articles, contributor to 2 technical textbooks, standards contributor and CEDIA Recommended Practices layout editor including CEDIA/CTA-RP22, RP28, RP1-1
Former CEDIA Asia Pacific board member
IEEE professional member since 2017, AES personal member
The foundation of CinemaCreators is built upon these years of advocacy, technical education and standards work. It’s our bedrock.
Our Vision
Our vision is to build a credible, dependable body of knowledge for cinema engineering and design; by the industry, for the industry.
In unison, each submission may offer only limited insight, perhaps some inspiration and hopefully a nugget of valuable information and promotion of the business behind it. But together they accumulate into a comprehensive library and industry resource in support of SMPTE and CEDIA.
About the logo
The CinemaCreators logo pays homage to the CIE 1931 colorimetry diagram as a symbol of our dedication to industry standards — especially with Dave’s strong history with video — inset with iconography representing audio and acoustics.
